Silver and Stewart have together been shooting pictures for nearly a century combined. Working in news, commercial, fashion, fine art

and travel photography, they independently developed a reputation for making strong pictures that tell compelling stories. After many years teaching and coaching in traditional academic and commercial settings, they decided that there had to be a better way to help people make great pictures.

Recognizing that thanks to the digital photography — taking a picture is no longer a challenge — we are now shooting them at the staggering rate of more than 10,000 per second — but making pictures that powerfully preserve our memories is as elusive as ever. Silver and Stewart set about to re-invent photo education, making it more approachable for amateur and vacation photographers.

Suddenly, it came into focus: “We want to make pictures that matter.” All of us want to tell our stories … about our travels … about our families … about the events of our lives. But we need to be able to “see” them in the first place.

The Picture Gurus Show was born.

In this highly-entertaining, 60, 90, or 120-minute, powerful photo-presentation Silver and Stewart can help everyone make better pictures — by teaching them to “see” pictures all around us. Created for the convention, travel and cruise markets — since these are venues were people are most likely to be found with cameras — this entertaining program is filled with easy-to-see tips illustrated with powerful pictures.

The Picture Gurus Show incorporates hundreds of stunning studio and travel images from their years of international assignments, along with new material that was shot to demonstrate key points in the show. Music, images and strong graphics swirl about the screen as The Picture Gurus captivate their audience, showing how to best capture our lives and travels in pictures.

The Picture Gurus are also available to take guests on shooting daytrips, including shore excursions,
field trips and destination outings. Guests will have
the opportunity for one-on-one coaching using the techniques learned during the presentation.
